Mark Kumar, MD
Mark Kumar, MD joined the practice in 2002. Dr. Kumar’s expertise is in the endovascular approach to the management of vascular disease. He has served as the primary surgeon for several live case demonstrations during symposia hosted by ‘The Group’. He has presented on topics related to the endovascular treatment of carotid, aortic and peripheral vascular disease and is currently serving as a sub-investigator in three industry-sponsored studies in which the Cardiovascular Care Group participates.
He obtained his Medical Doctorate from the University of Virginia School of Medicine and then completed a fellowship in Vascular Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University, Medical College of Virginia. During his residency he received the Diener Award for the Most Inspirational Resident.
